Shipping Policy for Lu’s 3D

This Shipping Policy explains how Lu’s 3D (“Lu’s 3D,” “we,” “us” or “our”) processes and ships your 3D‑printed orders. Because every item is made to order, processing times can vary. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing. By placing an order with us, you agree to this Shipping Policy.

1. Order Processing

1.1 Made‑to‑order production. All of our products are 3D‑printed on demand. We begin processing your order once payment is received. The time it takes to design, print and prepare each product will vary based on the complexity of the item and our current workload. As such, we cannot guarantee a specific processing timeframe for every order.

1.2 Typical timeframe. Most orders are processed within several business days after payment is received; however, during peak periods or for particularly complex prints, processing may take longer. We will do our best to keep you informed about the status of your order.

1.3 Business days. Processing times refer to business days (Monday–Friday), excluding weekends and public holidays.

2. Shipping Methods and Carriers

2.1 Standard shipping. Unless otherwise selected at checkout, all orders are shipped via Australia Post standard tracked service. A tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched, allowing you to follow the progress of your shipment.

2.2 Alternative options. Where available, you may choose alternative shipping methods (e.g., express or insured services) at checkout. Associated costs and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout.

2.3 Delivery address. Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct. We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. If an incorrect address is provided, you may be responsible for redelivery fees.

3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes

3.1 Estimates only. Delivery times provided at checkout are estimates supplied by Australia Post or other carriers. These estimates are based on typical delivery windows for your region and are not guaranteed. Factors such as peak seasons, weather events, carrier delays or unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery. We do not promise delivery by a specific date and cannot be held responsible for delays outside our control.

3.2 Tracking updates. Once your parcel is handed over to the carrier, it becomes subject to their delivery schedule. You can track your order using the tracking link provided in your dispatch confirmation email. If you have questions about the location of your parcel after it has been shipped, please contact the carrier directly with your tracking number.

4. Shipping Costs

4.1 Calculation. Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Costs depend on factors such as order weight, destination and selected shipping method.

4.2 Additional charges. For express services or large/bulky items, additional shipping charges may apply. Any applicable fees will be shown during checkout before you finalise your purchase.

5. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels

5.1 Risk of loss. Risk of loss passes to you when the parcel is delivered to Australia Post or the chosen carrier. However, we guarantee that your order will arrive intact. If your order arrives damaged, defective or is significantly delayed beyond the carrier’s estimated timeframe, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery or the last estimated delivery date with your order number and photos as evidence.

5.2 Claims for damage or non‑delivery. We will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier and, when applicable, provide a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.

5.3 Carrier delays. We are not liable for delays caused by Australia Post or other carriers once your order has been dispatched. Delivery timeframes are beyond our control and may be affected by factors such as public holidays, extreme weather or network disruptions.

6. Changes, Cancellations and Address Errors

6.1 Order changes. Because we begin production shortly after receiving your order, changes or cancellations may not be possible once an order is in production. If you need to modify or cancel your order, contact us immediately at accounts@lus3d.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee changes after printing has begun.

6.2 Incorrect address. If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, redelivery or reshipment fees may apply. Please double‑check your address details before placing an order.

7. International Shipping

7.1 At this time, we primarily ship within Australia. If you are located outside Australia and wish to place an order, please contact us at accounts@lus3d.com for a custom shipping quote and availability.
